In Code In The Fly, you need to help the fly get to the mushroom through a series of obstacles. There are three levels in which you will need to use coding blocks in order to make a program that will successfully move the fly to the mushroom.

Click the Down Arrow to access the Code Box. You can click with the left mouse button or touch screen finger and drag to place the code blocks such as that will move the fly in a certain direction and a certain amount of times. There are a different amounts of slots for these code blocks in each of the levels. If you place the blocks that you need in order onto the numbered slots, then the code you create "On the Fly" will run.

The check mark on the different code blocks opens up a drop-down in which you can select either the direction the fly needs to move or the amount of spaces the fly needs to move.

There are two code block types, single direction, and single direction spaced. The single direction takes one check box input and moves the fly in that direction indefinitely. The single direction spaced has two check boxes as shown above and takes a direction input and a space input. The spaces go 1-9, and will move the fly in the specified direction a specified amount.

Combine blocks to move different directions and reach the goal.

Press Esc to exit out of the level, level select, or game.

Press R to restart.

I made this game in less than one day after joining the game jam late.

Godot shifts all 2D UI to a point that it looks offset and smaller on itch.io and I can't fix that.
